Coral cutting

Postby Tylfly » Wed Jul 27, 2016 9:31 pm

I am looking to move one of my torches. I have it attached to the rock with coral epoxy, what is the best way to cut the epoxy so I can move it to an area it may be happier with?

if you can still reach the epoxy, you might be able to ply the epoxy itself off the rocks and still have the torch attached to the epoxy.

A cleaned up flat head screw driver work for that? I have checked out coral cutters, but am not sure if they will get to where I need to cut. i'm new to coral and don't want to harm the torch trying to get it loose

Screwdriver will work well, just gently pry it off, the epoxy isnt that strong.
