I got home today from my Bio lab (learning about cynobacteria) and went to check on my tank. When I got to the sump I saw my sea hare with his face stuck in the strainer for a small power head. I turned the power head off and gently tried to pull him off/out with no luck so I took the strainer off. When I pulled harder he dumped a small drop of purple ink into the fuge so I quickly pulled him out put some water in a clean container a placed him in it. Within seconds the water in the container was so dark I could not see through it. When it looked like he was done making a mess I put him in another container with clean water in it then prepaired a small hospital/observation tank. His face/head is retracted, I hope he survives.

Seen a few seahares go down in mine and a few other tanks; when the purple dye comes out that has marked end. But your seahare doesn't look as bad as the ones I have seen die. Best of luck to ya :xyxthumbs

He was crawling around the observation tank today, head was not retracted, and the mouth was sucking for food.
