aptasia help?

hi all,been fighting aptasias for a while now,i go in every week and find 2-3 and give them a shot of Aiptasia-x.it does the job,but i tire of the battle.what can i put in to eat them that will not harm my zoo,s and softies?
nudibranch?may harm corals?what fish will eat them?or i wil have to keep fighting them every week?:smily3:

Try a matted filefish..he was given to me as he liked zoas ? He destroyed every pest anemone.And i do have a few clumps of zoos..never touches them.But he loved to eat duncans,they had too go.Other than the one LPS he liked,model fish.

Peppermint Shrimp did the job for me. Now he's like a second cleaner in the tank. Doesn't touch anything else, no aiptasia since I put him in.

If you can get a hold of some Berghia nudibranch's eat aptaisa. Just have the issue of rehoming them after they eat them all.

i went to ddk today to get 2-3 peppermint shrimp,upon seeing them i recall that i put one of them in about a month ago,i have never seen it again.i have 2 yellow wrass in my tank,we figured thats why i never seen it.so there goes the aptasia control by shrimp,i may have to get a berghia ordered and try that?

update to the update,,i went to see how the new corals i got from ddk this morning were doing,lo and behold,what do i see?the peppermint shrimp i put in a month ago,,he is huge,3 times the size he was when i got him.so i guess my theory of the wrasse eating him is shot.also upon close inspection,only 10 small aptasia that i can see.so i guess i will add a few more shrimp.:banana:

Good to hear, and yes sometime peppermints will do wonders....
