If you lived in regina I could of done it for you and wired your garage all up! :o what you all putting in your garage just some lights and plugs? And you will be probably be looking at getting 6/3 NMWU it is about $14.50 a meter I do believe. Or else you could go with 6/3 teck90 its a better wire that's already protected but it will be abit more a meter. Any other questions just ask.

i did the wring in the garage my self and had it inspected last night and it passed, talked to a few companys around here and they wont sell me just the wire if i dont have my elec ticket, but i did manage to find some for cheap from a guy at work.

Home depot sells 6/3 nmwu too. Just make sure you dig your trench atleast 18 inches deep and put sand on the bottom of your trench. Then run pvc piping up your house foundation and garage to the point were you are entering to keep it protected.

It's also a good idea to lay down a tape that says "buried electrical" just a few inches above the line. I believe this is code, but maybe only applies to certain voltage.

i cant remember if its code or not but people do it just in case someone decides to do some digging. i will look in the code book later and see

i will do that then, i got some cable yesterday and layed it in the trench, now i need to find an electrician that can put a new double lug meter box on the house and do the tie in for me.
