Nice John
You have ton's of resorces for all kinds of things...good to have around..thats for surre. Now I'm curious as to what they used to "COAT" that wooden "frame" of a tank!Would it be safe?:DMaybe a Marine enamel of some sort?I'm a painter and this is still kindda "iffy".

you coat your wood tanks in marine EPOXY..better than enamel and thicker too..seen quite a few winter koi tanks made and they last for many years...

Now this is interesting....I've not heard of this although it make all sence...Think I might have to try for a unique sump that will fit in my tank stand!Where do you get this epoxy?thax:D

Hey John,
Where did you get those pics from? If it is from a thread on another forum, it would be great if you could provide the link!
Thanks,
Colby

I got them from his website...he had posts on reef central and canreef, neither of which are easy to find...last night I looked for about 30 minutes and couldn't come up with anything...and it's impossible to use the search feature on reefcentral nowadays..
edit: here's a similar tank setup
