Had to remove an emerald crab when I witnessed him enacting a rampage through my eagle-eye zoa patch. Don't know what brought that about but I was glad to see it as I would never have guessed the emerald crab to be the culprit.

All crabs are evil, they all go to the dark side eventually....

Sexy shrimp if not kept very well fed will start to eat corals mainly zoa skirts. On the topic, all crabs are opportunistic feeders, if their calling for something in their diet they want... they all take those chances. Porcelain Anemone Crabs are the only ones that I have had kept that kept to their selves and they filter feed 80% of the time. As I have had a couple that ate mysis shrimp and frozen mix of stuff.

Huh, I spot feed the shrimp, they have tamed up fast. I will try giving them more of a variety.

Another night, and less zoa polyps this morning. I moved them back to my overflow in my spec. Annoying because they will root on the sponge back there, but better then them being munched on. Kinda disappointed because I had imagined my tank covered in zoas of all different colors. Glad I didn't spend a bunch on a special one just to have it munched on.
