Tonight i caught sight of a three inch spotted hawiian flatworm. He's loose in about forty pounds of live rock. Anybody have any ideas? I only caught sight of it once and by the time I got back to the tank with utensils it was gone.

I got one of those stupid flatworms too about the same size. Saw him about 3 months ago and I've been searching for him ever since, cause they eat snails and clams. So far all my snails are around and my clams are fine. Not sure of anything that will eat it or find it for that matter :P Good luck catching him!

Maybe one of the "picker" type wrasses? Pretty sure my Melanurus would kick his @$$. What ya got in there now?

I have a Mystery Wrasse, pair of Clowns, lawnmower Blenny and a full grown Cardinal. Dozen or so Astrea snails and a couple Strawberry Conchs.
The problem is I only caught sight of him after the lights were out for a couple hours. Most Wrasse's aren't nocturnal are they?

If the Mystery Wrasse isn't getting him, then I doubt any others will. You could Flatworm eXit the tank...

Well for the time being I'm going to don a red led headlamp and do some night hunting for a couple weeks, see if that doesn't round him up. I'm scared to get a clam with that flatworm cruising around in there! I don't think I want to take a chance just yet.
