I've been using Two Fishes Phyto and also the Zoplankton and my corals are doing better - I also have gone to some direct feeding of some of the corals using a turkey baster with the Two Fishes products.

I turn off my skimmer for an hour when feeding, although Ive also forgotten to turn the skimmer back on - for up to three hours in some cases - I know ScaryGary mentioned the forgetfulness factor in another thread on this site ... I can verify this on my part! But turning the skimmer off for an hour or whatever may have helped, too.

That would be the phyto, not the fertilizer. The fertilizer should have been mostly used up before harvest, and the fertilizer wouldn't help your corals anyway. The phyto may also be bringing some life to some zooplankton in your tank which could also be feeding the corals.
