nothing special...carries some nice sw stuff though...red sea/aquarium pharm test kits, seachem, kent, coralife. prices are pretty good for local I think the 150gal pail of coralife salt was $68, they had IO 160gal pails too for aroudn the same price..they had another brand of salt that i've heard of but cannot remember.

no sw fish that I saw, but there was a bowfront tank with a pretty rank setup, it only had sand and water in it, not sure what's gonna be in it.

wasn't much of a store otherwise...same **** in a boring location.

Me and my family heard about the store opening so we went there. Were looking for crushed coral, which they only had two bags.Yeah no corals or fish and we asked and they won't carry any. That Gorgeous Marineland bowfront was Incrediable, a commercial only product, but there going to waste it filling it with koi fish :beat-pute what a waste !!

I'm not big on bow fronts once they have water in them - don't they distort the view and make your eyes go goofy? I think that people who try to sell their bow fronts used have a harder time doing it - so I wonder if other don't see things the way I do ... with distortion when viewing them!

Please feel free to disagree or agree with me.

Thanks John. My opinion is that the corner tanks like western feeds uses totally warp your view because of the amount of bend in the glass. As far as bowfronts there are a few issues

1- it is difficult to use a steel scraper in a up and down motion because of the curved glass
2- on the 48 in bowfront the width of the tank is to thin for a good light.the width is only 10 in .yes a coralife aqualight with pc will fit(limiting coral choises) but my hamilton or pfo or most manufacturers lights with halides are too wide and hang over edges and block glass from opening.I rectified this by mounting light on stand that is 2 in tall so the light sits above overflow tubes and is even with back of tank. The 6ft bowfront doesnt have this prob because it is much wider 24".

To me the most important things when looking for a new tank is width. It is much easier to build a decent rockwork in a 24 wide tank than 18 "
Hieght is also very important.I am not a fan of tanks deeper than 24 in because to have stonies, sps and high light corals in this tank a higher watt halide is required and a pc setup would have trouble lighting bottom third of tank thus limiting coral choices at that depth.
If anyone is considering buying a bowfront you are more than welcome to see mine and i can discribe their limitations but bowfronts can look very good especially the larger ones.Stay away from the corner tanks as the view is very distorted.and have many limitations.
This is only my opinion based on my expeirience.
