cowries

i have had this cowrie that has lived through hell with me for past 5 yrs and i caught it eating my zoos in middle of the night.over the last 2 weeks it has ate probly 30-50 zoo polyps on a rock with about 100 polyps.it has never bothered my corals before the zoos.it used to eat my cyno like it was mcdonalds but i now have no cyno or other algea.is this why it is eating polyps? will it be ok inrefugium?or should i get rid of it?any similar problems?

Hey, I'm new to your forum, but I know this problem. Cowries aren't a problem until they get big, then they develop a taste for corals! The fuge will be fine for him!
