Currently planning on building an in-stand sump for my 29 gallon biocube. Has anyone else done this already? looking for tips or tricks...no sense in re-inventing the wheel right. Here's a picture of what i'm after

No not yet but I have seen them drilled when looking for research material. there seems to be a variety of HOB overflows available as well, i also looked at a few DIY plans for those. I was kind of hoping someone on this site might have seen something similar in action.

Well much to my dismay Mame products were on temporary Hiatas due to the earthquakes in japan. I talked to the Rep at Aquatouch in Phoenix today and he said they have started production again but due to the fact that they mainly supply Japan and Europe, the United States only see's a few here and there.
Having said that I plan on building my own out of PVC (Yeah I know that its No where near as pretty!!!!)

No guarantees but I would try contacting Red Coral in Calgary as they have excellent suppliers.
