Wish I could offer advice on the coraline. I had to use vinger and razors on my tank

You could try Petland for the black silicone. The Petland here in Saskatoon carrys it so I would guess the one in Regina would as well

yes tank is empty picked it up from a fellow reefer today and trying to clean it up for a qt tank i was going to dismantle it for the glass but i think i found a spot to set it up for qt in my furnace room. and clr isnt helping regretfully.

I had the same issue. Set tank on ends/sides etc and let vinegar sit on a flat surface for a few hours or overnigt on one surface. Coraline came off relatively easy. Just rotated tank as needed.

I just ordered some magi-klean from Kelly at the Reefe Shoppe. I don't know much about it yet, all I know is that it has to be diluted and seems pretty good. I am pretty sure he brought in a few of them. http://reefbuilders.com/2010/09/27/hydor-magiklean-proves-worth-removing-calcium-buildup-tubeworms-coralline-algae/

THE REEF SHOPPE no longer sells the ROWA Ezeclean. We now sell the HYDOR Magi-Klean, which costs less money and does a fantastic job. We sell a 3-pack box for $12.

all is scraped off but i think some is embedded in the glass. for what its worth i appreciate all the ideas and help.

all in all i think i have decided the use for this tank im going to use it to mix salt water and i am going to build a closed loop for mixing. one thing ive noticed when mixing in a rubbermaid container it the sediment that builds on the bottom of the rubbermaid container which then flakes off and contaminates the fresh mixed water with white flakey particles. any ides how i would keep this from happening. ive thought about very high water presure shooting at the bottom of the tank but unsure if that would be enough. all i know its a bugger to clean when it builds up.

sorry to switch the feel of the thread i call it multiple thread personalty syndrom.
