so, in my attempt to battle the blasted microbubbles I purchased a 110gal sump. I am now part of the "my sump is larger than my display tank" club with shawn and scott. :D

pics to follow as my camera batteries are charging.

Is the sump still working out well for you. From the picture I have a question, is the display above the sump or in the next room. Also, I see 2 returns from the pump, 1 valve is closed, future upgrade or plumbing?

the display is on the other side of the wall..the black pipe going into the white pail is from the overflow. the closed valve goes to my refugium..which broke. My lesson learned on "how much can I make the glass bend"

right now, without the refugium, I just hook up a hose to it and down the drain it goes. nice simple water changes.

Glass bend....Nice, I want some of that.

How about some pictures of that display my man, let's see where those pipes go.

when the tank was setup sometime in july:http://invigor.sasktelwebsite.net/100lbs.jpg

today:

where are all my corals you ask? well..most of them got fried in an electrical failure when I tried moving them into a smaller "coral only" tank...figure something got into the water because nothing lived. no corals, no inverts, no fish, not even bristleworms survived.

however, that's my tank and my clam is fine! woohoo!

Was that your stint as a certified executioner, at least you didn't get zapped :)

Awesome coralline growth on your rocks. I want growth like that but my damn Urchin is a machine!
