Garage Sale/ Meeting

Hey Reefers, Thought I would update you guys. Ocean Aquatics has donated us a door prize, as well as BaySideCorals.Thanks Wendell and Colby. I'm still waiting on a few other venders to reply.The response from members has been great, should be a fun. Darren

what were the particulars on the meeting/ garage sale again

The Garage sell/Meeting will be Saturday Oct 15th 1:00pm till 4:00ish depending how things go. Location 22 McCaul Cres, will be held in my Garage. There will be tables and some chairs,best to bring a folding chair along. Dont worry if its cool the garage is heated.Bring livestock or equipment. I would suggest label price and name of seller. Also bring your own refreshments, pop or beer. Colby from BaySideCorals will be here from Saskatoon, everyone can pick his brain on Corals. We have a couple of donations from venders, for door prizes. All in all should be a fun time, to meet everyone and shoot the **** about the hobby. I hope to see you reefers from out of town as well, Yorkton, Weyburn, Moosejaw, everyone is welcome. If anyone has contacts on door prizes let me know. Darren.

Hey Reefers another update. This has become a two day event. Colby has decided to come down Friday Oct 14th. The reason for this is you ever orders corals from him, will be able to pick them up Friday. This gives Saturday a more relaxed time. People wont have to worry about leaving Saturday to get there corals home safe. If anyone knows any other local vender like Cowtown or Petcetra, please hit them up for a door prize. The help is appreciated. Darren

anyone think a "frag swap" would be a neat idea for this too? It'd be a great way to share the wealth and get new stuff in everyone's tank! Also great for beginners such as myself to learn to frag things properly, maybe ask how it's done, or better yet see how it's done

Frag swap is a great idea John, If anyone has Frags bring them along to trade or sell. Its a Garage sale bring anything Saltwater related. I was asked if this garage sale/meeting is also being used to form and saltwater club here in Regina, as far as I know its not. We just thought it was a great Idea to get everyone together who use SaskReef site, and have a little fun, and sell some stuff hanging around, and maybe learn something from other reefers. Btw we just got another donation from Premium Aquatics.(fun door prize) Thanks Darren.

Great news, I think the garage sale/meeting is great. I am planning on attending myself. Looking to sell a skimmer :dance: and meet some more people in the hobby!

Hey guys the Garage/Meeting is just around the corner. Gary suggested we set-up a small tank to float frags as needed.If your bringing frags. We will have pails of Salt to buy there as well $57.00 per pail. I will give you a final update on the event before the weekend, hope to see you there. Darren
