Jay , Its not going to hurt anything by moving your anemone in with your clowns. I'm sure your hospital tank is smaller then your main tank. They might just use your anemone for cover in the hospital tank. My clown took to my anemone right away. I think with in time they will. Good-luck.

all you can do is try. sebaes and perculas aren't very common..more of a clarkii clown thing. also, for the anemone's sake, make sure you've got it under very intense lighting too, they need much more than LTAs and BTAs.
as for getting them to host, best of luck to you!

I dont have an anemone, but one of my clowns hovers above my largest zoanthid colony at night. He ignores it during the day and the other clowns ignore the zoos completely. Strange things.

John is right. Clarkii are the only clowns reported to be found in sebae's. You can keep trying ,you never know. Clarkii are the clown ?luts, they will host in almost anything. There are 28 species of clown fish , but they only host in 10 species of anemones.

Further research tells me that about a dozen species of clown will host in a sebae. This is the problem with common names, this anemone also goes by the name leather or leathery anemone. Some other anemone's are called sebae but really aren't.The problem is do we know that what you have is a true sebae or just what the seller decided to call it. Look up Heteractis crispa and see if yours resembles and is similar to what they describe. Also, size of the anemone matters sometime. The anemone is suppose to be 3-4 times the size of the clownfish. This kind of anemone needs bright light and should be fed every other day. Not one of the easier anemone's to keep.

For what it's worth - I have two perc clowns that hang out in a large finger leather coral although I have a rose bubbletip anemone. I think if the anemone weren't so close to the top of my tank and if the anemone were more up an down in the tank versus being more parallel to the surface of the water - that might be more attractive to the clowns.
