Stuff growing on live rock

I've been finding these worm like things growing on my live rock and they keep spitting out stuff that basically looks like a spider web. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or if i should be trying to remove them. Let me know, thanks.

Sounds like a Vermetid snail ,a harmless filter feeder.
