so i have entered the nano contest on canreef, i don't need another tank but couldn't help my self and hopefully i can shut the other two down and just keep the nano and my 120.
so this is what i'm working with, a tank i got from shroom a while ago, its a 20 gallon cube that i drilled for an 1.5" overflow. haven't dicided if i'm going with a 75 watt halide, or 4 t5ho both types need new bulbs. going to run the sump off my 16 gallon and add a refugium, for water movement i'm going to drill some more holes in it and do a closeloop system, return will be a mag 2.5, skimmer not to sure maybe use the prizm skimmer thats also on 16 gallon.
this weekend my dad is going to build a stand and a hood for me, and should be able to get some water, rock and sand in it, will use 75% from my 300 gallon system and 25% new water. should have very small to no cycle. and be ready for live stock.
only pic i have just dug it out of my basement.

Jason, I don't want to hijack your thread here...........
The CANREEF contest seems like a great idea.
:poke:Hey Mods, Can something similar happen on SASKREEF?

so i finally got around to building the stand today, used birch plywood for sides and back and solid birch for the front, no doors yet, had to remove two side peices to get the ten gallon in to it. cut the ten gallon front out of it tonight so i can get a peice of 1/4" glass cut to drill a hole so water can get to the bottom sump.
