So the problem I had was not with ph it was not with the probe but with the main unit itself. Go figure so the lesson learned here is not to check the monitor first but it is a lesson, but man u can basically throw all the ph raiser, alkalinity, calcium stuff u want in to a tank, and it is really hard to kill your corals and fish. They are way moe tolerant of weird conditions than a person expects.
