My fish like most peoples would eat 24-7. I only feed once a day, they'll live, they grow.

Usually mine get fed brine shrimp every other day, algae every day, and pellets thrown in every once and a while. It's not as strict a diet as some but it works. And mine would eat 24/7 also. They always look fat and healthy, and never seem to be malnurished.

Because I'm not running a skimmer in my nano, I aim to feed once every two days (live stock is 2 clown and a YWG + CUC) to keep the nitrates down. Just pellets I got from bayside. My clowns are fat and are very happy and the Goby, whenever he/she is out, looks great.

all my fish get fed once per day if they are lucky.
usually, i'll miss a day on purpose. they all seem very healthy.
for the stingray, sometimes i miss a couple days in a row.
if you think about it, how often does food float by in the wild?
bigger fish can go allot longer without a meal.

I've always been under the impression that fish are healthier when they are a bit hungry, not starving! Important difference. Every second day is plenty. The biggest problem most people have with aquariums is over-feeding as this leads to many other problems in your tank.
My fish get a small sheet of nori everyday, get fed pellets every second day, and once a week they get PE Mysis soaked in Garlic Extreme and Selcon.
Mich is right though, smaller fish need food more often.

Our guppy fry get fed in the morning and in the evening (most of the time). They are growing like weeds. The 10g gets fed most every morning. Sometimes I forget, but they always get the next day then.
I feed my tanks once a day.I found that like everything else in the hobby, that being consistent keeps the ecological system in check.

I feed most of the fish everyday. since I got rid of all the small ones i will start to feed less and less. My lion gets fed as much as he will eat 2-3 times a week. My eel gets fed as much shell on shrimp as he can eat twice a week, ussually 3-5 medium sized prawns
Hey tlb71, glad to hear the fish are doing good!!! the blue tang likes to take in air and then swim around blowing bubbles. keep fedding them a variety of stuff and they will stay nice and fat and vibrant!!

I feed mine ocean nutrition flake food once every second day. No problems at all.
Well...my fish say "feed me""all the time..I feed 3 to 4x/day...little bits. And then 1x/wk I feed "only 0 or 1x/day...I think ..in the wild..they are grazing all day. I want to keep them from picking on corals or maybe eating each other.

Anthias require multiple feedings per day so mine get twice a days.
