Ok so far I have in my 48gal tank is a yellow eye tang which is about 3",4 blue chromis,1 firefish,1 bangaii cardinal,1 lawnmower blenny,36 blue legged hermits,16 astrae snails,10 margrita snails,10 cerith snails,1 sandsifting starfish, and 2 skunk cleaner shrimps. Now I want to know what kind of fish that I can have in my tank that my yellow eye tang can get along with.

Most other fish other than tangs. You let us know what type you are interested in keeping as that would be easier than us listing 100 different fish you are not interested in.

Well there was a flame angel I had in there but I had to move him out because he was stressing out because the tang would pick on him so much and I lost him when he fell ill and died:boohoo: . So dwarf angels are out of the question are there any fish that are tough enough to hold its own with the tang and wont harrased the other fish and critters.

Depends on size of the fish, what order they are put in the tank, and how long certain fish have had the tank to themselves. I've got a yellow tang, coral beauty and flame angel. All went in about the same time and no problems. They have been in the tank for 4 years with some other fish. I've tried adding the odd fish now and then but no luck because they all pick on what ever I try to add. They all know their neighbors and don't want anyone new. Each fish also has his own personality. While your flame angel was bugged by your Kole tang, another might stand up to the tang. No one can tell you for sure what will work. Different size and shape and color than the tang will help, but if he decides the tank is his domain, you may have trouble adding anything. Most hobbists have had to get rid of a troublemaker at one time or another. Another option is to add other possible meanies. Damsels, tomato or maroon clowns, royal dottyback, some hawkfishs. Kole tangs are not really known to be overly aggressive , but all the different factors have to be taken into account. You can try using a divider in the tank, or a small breeder tank inside the main tank to hold the new addition for a few days. This will let the tang get used to the new fish. Good Luck

Shouldn't that bangai cardinal have another bangai as a buddy?

when I got him he was alone I got him at petcetera and he sticks with the chromis and the firefish most of the time. The tang and lawnmower blenny stick by each other too.
