One of my new Montipora frags has some of its colour pulling off. Anyone see this before?

The green frag seems to be Ok but the purple one seems to be getting worse.

It looks like it is bleaching. I just bought a blue encrusting montipora and it started to do that. I put it in a lower light area and that seems to have stopped it.

Deb, do they bounce back? I picked them up from Oceans on center street.

Most of the colour has pulled off of the one frag. Good news is the other one seems fine.

They bounce back very well. The other day mine fell down into my tube anemone, it got stung. About 1/4 got bleached, but two weeks later it has grown 90% of the way back.

That's funny because that is where I got the one that is bleaching for me. Mine doesn't seem to be getting any worse, although it definitely has some damage.
