In the early evening some natural indirect sunlight travels across my aquarium for about hald an hour, i got some pics of my clam today when the sun was on it, it was really neat its rim turned bright green and where my tank light mixed with it it was dark blue!!

I have seen a few clams look quite a blue-green colour when they are tilted at just the right angle - also the angle that you look at the clam seems to make a difference ... so, a clam viewed from the top of your tank could look a blue-green, but just look blue when viewed from the front glass.

If your clam has that greenish tinge with the blue, maybe try the clam at different depths and angles in your tank and see if you can get it showing quite a blue-green colour ( if you want to!)

Its quite happy where it is, i just wanted to show what happened when the sunlight hit it, it was like gleaming it was so bright and the colors were all blending in an out over the folds in the mantle.
