I need a way to b able to get some frsh oxygen to my tank,m i know this sounds silly but, it seems thati have high co2 levels in my house or at least in my basement. Do furnances have fresh air intakes?? O r am i looking at haveing to drill a hole to the outside of my house to bring in frsh air??

Similar to the nitrogen cycle in your tanks, Co2 is actually a byproduct of methane gas.

Solution? Less chile dogs.

Hope you don't mean CO (carbon monoxide)? If so you have a dangerous problem - plugged chimney, vent tube etc., - deal with it immediately.

If carbon dioxide, (Co2), sounds to me like you need a fresh air heat exchanger which will help with humidity too.

yes and no Ron, it is carbon dioxcide that i am worried about, after doing an experiment suggested by holmes on Reef central, it seems that i have a high carbon dioxcide levels in my basement possibly house, not a big thing b/c in summer lots of windows open so co2 lvls are normal but winter they becopme high. These high co2 lvls seem to b the cause of my low ph lvls, in my tank so i need to b able to put more o2 into my system, fresh o2 into my system.

So like i said looking for ideas. I would asume air exchager is big bucks???
