Is anyone using a macro algae culture for nutrient export that involves the use of the chaetomorpha algae? I understand this macro algae does not 'go sexual' like the caulerpa sp. and is thus safer for reef tanks. I am setting up an inline drilled refugium and would like to use chaetomorpha macro algae. Does anyone have any experience with it and/or would someone be willing to part with a small amount?

I used to have Caulerpa and it was a PITA! It would fill my Fuge to a solid block in no time not to mention it goes asexual on you. I switched to Chaeto and won't look back. It is much more easy to manage. I have some for you if you are ever in Saskatoon.

Thanks very much. I don't get to S'toon often, but my inlaws have a farm in the area so I'll give you a heads up when we pass through St'oon on the way out to the farm.
