No its not stolen. My tank today was at 86. This is way to warm. I just added another power head. Should i take it out. This tank is only a 30gal tank so, no chiller. There are three power heads in the tank, plus the 250watt MH over head.

I have two fans going - one blowing underneath my metal halides and across the top of a covered 90 gal tank - the other fan blows right on to my 33 gallon sump - I'm adding about a gallon of water a day to the tank on these hot days ( to compensate for the evaporation), but the temperature on the tank is staying between 79.5 and 80.5 degrees. With only the one fan on the top of the tank, I was getting a 3.5 degree temperature swing.
I have 400 watt, 10,000K and 14,000K metal halide bulbs for the lighting.
The fan I have on the sump is a $15 Wal-Mart one - by Honeywell.
