Can anyone tell me please. If you have about 100 lbs. of live rock and then you take your setup down, and this rock is all dried up and has been sitting for 3 years is it worth anything. would it still be usefull. Thank you.

Yup it's still good,i would throw it in a tank, tub, with heat and good water movement.Check it regularly for nitrate, ammonia, etc. When it looks good, seed it with some liverock,or sand and let it go until it's live and smells like the ocean.

Thank you very much for the reply. I won't be able to get any salt water going for a very long time so I would like to sell this rock. What would be a fair price to ask, I have two 5 gal. pails full.

Depending ontype and since it's essentially dry base rock now I would think 2-3 a pound but I may be off base....

2 - 5 gallon pails full? That must be some insanely dense rock! Mine's pretty dense and it's only about 50 lbs for that amount. Then again, you could have lots more rubble.
