Emerald Crabs

Hey guys would you recomend having an emerald crab in the tank? Are they a little overly agressive or not?

I assume you mean in a reef..?
I had one that was a model citizen till one day he just dissapeared..
The only thing I would caution you against is that they can get huge and start knocking stuff around.
A buddy of mine has one that is almost 2" across the carapice. :icon_eek:

I never had good luck with them. One night he ate my firefish.:NoNo: That was the end of him. I think that scary gary has had better luck with them.

I've had 3 or 4 but only the latest has ever eaten bubble algea (valonia). thats the only reason I would get one. I wouldn't put him in a reef tank, mine in my lionfish tank.
