sad day....the rain is justified

so i came home today and found my 2 henicous butterflys dead i assume they were beat up last night by my purple tang as they always fought. but the weird thing is in my coral tank my yellow tang was dead his head all bloody with a slime web type thing he was lying beside my carpet anemone i had no aggressive fish just percs.coral beauty and 6 line wrasse

Anything new added to the tank that could of caused it?

Sorry to hear about you losses. It is posible the yellow tang thought he could get a meal from the carpet.
