Careful, that calculator chooses glass thickness based on height alone, for example a tank 96" long and 24" tall only requires 3/8" glass according to this site. If you are planning on building a tank I can provide guidance.

Also I'm not sure on your plans but an FYI: it's cheaper to buy a tank than to build one.

oh ya totally I know it is cheaper to get someone else to do it and way less hassel. I was just curious about a design of plywood tank that I had thought of, if it would work. But garf is only the standard rectangle.

Yeah, but building one is part of the DIY experience. It's a part of the hobby. Unless of course you're doing it just for show.
