So far I have 2 clownfish,3 blue chromis,3 yellowtail damsels,1 lawnmower blenny,1 sand sifting starfish, 2 blue legged hermits, 7 astrae snails + 12 baby snails, and 1 small anemone. Its a 48gal tank and I need more ideas what I should put in there the yellowtails are getting bold and starting to pick on the smaller chromis so I need some ideas what fish I can put in there. I am also looking for ideas what I can put in there for a cleanup crew Im thinking of getting a purple dwarf lobster in there and maybe some more blue legged hermits.

for cleanup crew ive always liked brittle and serpent stars, have kept them in every tank ive setup since i first got one about 3 years back, they nicely get in between and under the rocks to stir/eat debris and they look cool and can be hand fed to suppliment their diet. ive only had black, brown, and cream colored ones, but the red and green are awsome.

sea urchins are also cool, the long spined and tuxedo are the only ive ever seen in the shops, but both are interesting, active, and colorful.

Purple lobsters are extremely aggressive and will kill and eat anything they can catch. I initially wanted one, but after some research, I decided that it was inappropriate for my reef tank and would need a separate tank for it alone. It's a neat animal though so maybe I will get one in the future. For your reef tank and mine however, it's probably a bad idea.
