Well,
Somebody is nipping pieces off of my Xenia .
The first culprit is my Regal Tang at about 6" . I also have a Yellow Tang, B & W Heniochus, False Perc, Maroon Clown, Blue Green Chromis and a Lawnmower Blenny .
Any ideas and a possible why ? I think the Regal is the only visble one with teeth.

If I had to guess, I'd say the B&W Heniochus. I have the other fish and they've never made a move at my Xenia. The only one I don't own is the Heniochus.

The reason I was thinking the Regal is because it keeps picking up my Montipora and moving it as well as the odd rock.

My Regal will move rock, ie: pick it up and drop it from great heights, but he's only eaten macro algeas, never Xenia. I don't have any Montipora or corals like that.

I agree with Rick. Most likely is the butterfly. But until you actually see him nipping , he's presumed innocent. Alot of butterfly's will nip at corals. Mine have been good till I put in a finger leather someone gave me. My Coral Beauty and Flame angel decided it tasted good and started to eat it from the base up. It is now slowly recovering in another tank. Good luck with catching the culprit.
