Thought I'd post an updated picture of my tank...started it in May of this year...

...went through the hair algae phase...just getting over the cyano phase...still a little more dirty than I'd like...

Open to crits! Don't worry about negative feedback either...I'm interested in everything and anything you guys might think! :wavey:

It's looking sweet!!!! The tank has come a very long way since I saw it in my store last! Really for a first time salt tank you have done very well so far!

Your corals look nice and healthy.

You've got that clam staying put on the rocks I guess?

One idea - maybe some more live rock - shape the formation into a lagoon perhaps. The more live rock ... the merrier!

Thanks guys! It's nice to get feedback!

Yes, I placed the clam right where he still is now...he likes it there...no jumping! He's got his clammy little foot hanging on tight! ;)

I dunno about more live rock? Some of the corals have come with bits and pieces which is taking up some room...and I still plan on a pair of clowns (and that'll be it for fish! I have 2 Pajama Cardinals, 2 Green Clown Gobies that I rarely see...and one Tanagora Prawn Goby)...

I would like to know more about what you have in it - what worked and what didn't. I also got an RSM from Colby. Any modifications? More pics?

Funny you should ask! I just sent my tank update to a little RSM 'club' a group of RSM owners put together.

I have, for the record, done NO modifications at all...but most of the guys have...mainly because they can't help themselves I think

My only complaint with it so far is the fussiness of the water level in regard to microbubbles...if I don't keep the water level totally at one point...I have annoying microbubble issues...

My water parameters are good...all my livestock appears to be healthy (*knockonwood*)...so the system is working well for me...

Here's a link to the website...I think you'll find it useful, and of interest!
