first salt water tank

whats up every one this is my first salt water tank and i was just wondering if anyone could give me some help i got a 25 gal tank and i got a proteen skimmer and all that i was just woundering what all i should do so i dont mess up nothin seting it up thanx

All I can say to start out with is do tons of research. and be patient, it will save you alot of money. you can start out your research at www.wetwebmedia.com (http://www.wetwebmedia.com) just read some of the basic set ups then ounce your questions become more specific it will be easier to answer them.

Is this your very first aquarium or have you done freshwater before?

I suppose my big suggestion is... get lots of live rock. Biological filtration is just as, if not more important as mechanical fitration.
