I have one for sale if you decide to go with it. It's two years old, but hasn't been used for the last six months, I cleaned it up and put it away.

Let me know if you might want it.

Depending on if your wanting fish only or inverts/reef, but I would never recommend that filter or canister filters in general. Ive personally always found canister filters to be a chore to clean and we all know if cleaning is a chore you wont do it often enough, leading to sky high nitrates.

In any event, fish only or inverts, Id go with some sort of a hang-on powerfilter unless behind tank space is highly limited. Nice thing about them is it literally takes less than 5 mins to rinse out the sponge and replace carbon, etc, while an 'uncooperative' canister filter may take 15+minutes to get started again. Thats just my idea on the subject, although those filters can do an awsome job if cleaned often.

One last point, Ive always used aquaclear powerfilters on all my marine, reef, and fresh tanks. Never had ANY problems, and I even have every single model they make (mini - 500) LOL!
