After seeing Rybcats amazing SPS tank full of HUGE ,healthy, and beautiful Acropora"s ,Millipora's and other once impossible to keep alive corals with the most amazing set up(IVE NEVER SEEN A WAVE IN A TANK TILL NOW!) it got me thinking after seeing many great local tanks and meeting many great pand committed people how over the last 20 yrs Sask and area has become full of amazing systems and hundreds of dedicated people in this hobby and ive been fortunate to see some of the systems and have become friends with many of the hobby people. MANY PEOPLE have some amazing systems that are WORLD CLASS.Just seeing their systems and chatting and getting info and equipment tips has helped everyone alot.
People across our area are spending hundreds and thousands and spending hours learning and maintaining to trying to keep salt water animals alive.its not a cheap or easy hobby if you want to be successful but I remember when id buy fish or shrimp for when i was having company but not expecting them to live long after.LOL
Many people are dedicated and knowledgeable and invest in some of the best equipment you can get because they want to keep the animals alive longer than a weekend.LOL.Thats great!
People are able to keep corals and fish for many years and pass off frags and resell etc. Thats good for all of us because without the people and community the animals get flushed.
Sask Reef and local stores around our area and on the internet who are committed to the Salt Water Hobby have come along way, very long way now you can buy or order or gain instant knowledge on anything you want locally or over internet and have it at your door in a week!. Its so much easier to keep these animals alive when you can gain knowledge on animals and buy different products manufactured and relied upon all over the globe .
Keep up the good work everyone and Ill take a frag if you have one! PS go on a saltwater tour to see some amazing tanks! :rocket1:
