It's 10:25 p.m. and I was just watching my clown eggs start to hatch. I transfered them yesterday to a small breeding tank. I did'nt think they would hatch till after the lights went out, but they are hatching out under the actinics. only 3 so far. I'm able to see them quiet well with the magnifying glass. Got to go check on them. Talk to you later

Sounds awesome! I love anything babies...I used to buy pregnant mollies for my FW and they'd have their babies almost right after I got them home, due to the stress. I love the livebearers...they're fun. We did have angel fish eggs 5 years ago or so, but I don't think we had a male in there to fertilize. Good luck with child-rearing :) Keep us posted on how they look.

If you want to try another batch I have a tile full of eggs that was laid last Wednsday. They usually hatch in 8 days so they will be ready soon. Call me at 7890677 Joe B

Hatching update. Only 5 hatched out before I went to bed. Got up this morning and no sign of them. The rest off the eggs have turned pinkishwhite. I think they are dead maybe from fungus. Thanks for the offer Joe, but I'll just wait for another spawning which should happen Sun. Mon. or Tue. I might try putting the dad in with the eggs till hatching or useing a fungacide. Same thing happened the last time I tryed but 0 hatched. Maybe 10 next time. I'll keep trying.
