Can yo have too many clowns in one tank ? I mean around 6 , or do brawls break out.

This is in a 75g.

The problem with clownfish is the same as alot of other fish. Territory. The perc's are about the least aggresive of the clowns, but two will set up house in an anemone and chase others away so unless you have a few anemone's and a big enough tank I would limit it to two. some of the others become brutes with age, Tomato, Maroon, and possibly the Clarkii. Maroon's do not get along unless a mated pair. As with any fish sometimes times you can mix and match and they might get along, but you are taking a chance.

I may end up with a couple or 3 for sale . Time will tell. The maroon seems pretty liad back at this time.

Hey they may get along great. Like you said , only time will tell. I've got a flame and coral beauty angel that get along .
