Well it appears like some of my hermits keep getting a little too close to my green open brain. Is there any way that these things might get devoured and kill the coral? It looks like the brain tries to close in around it... but it looks kinda big for it... the hermit has no motivation to get outta there either... This has happened a few times..., but sofar nothing has come of it...

Lemme know what you think...

Should I continue picking these guys off whenever i see em in it?? or leave em be?

Thanks,
Andrew

I would pick them out, I can't see them killing the coral but they will definitely irritate it. It's very strange why the hermits would crawl into the open brain?

Hermits do that to mine frequently and my brain's don't seem bothered at all by it anymore. My coral banded walks across them every once and a while to.

Cheers

well I left the thing alone and it seemed to make it outta there fine. They dont seem to be picking at it.. just finding a comfy place to rest. The brain doesnt look any different or irritated or anything.

Thanks for the advice.
