Like the title says, my featherduster left its tube. It is sitting next to the tube on the sand, fully open. Is this common? Is it in trouble?

They do that sometimes. I've never seen mine do it, but Colby told me it's nothing to worry about. Just last night however, mine did shed its crown. This too is nothing to worry about.

My guess is that it will build a new tube or return to its old one.

Do you have any pics? Ive always wondered what it looks like without it tube.
