Actually, it's a news flash.

Cowtown is planning on converting their 2500 gallon tank ( is it really that big?) into a salt tank over a month and a half period after they sell the last three big freshwater fish that are in there. Sounds like this tank could become the showpiece for the province.

Before the Pirhanas (sp?) it was a saltwater setup. And before that I was told it housed sharks. Would be nice to see it go back to salt water. I did hear that it was 1100 gal., either way its huge.

I remember the shark - our family used to stop by and view it on many Sundays when we were checking out freshwater fish supplies. I didn't realize that this was one and the same tank. I guess you'd need either 1100 or 2500 gallons (whatever it is) if it was for a shark.

They have been talking about doing that for a 6 month or more. It would be very nice if they did, but I would not hold my breath.

Last time it was a salt tank, I heard Morris decided to throw in a hold pile of live rock(uncured) and killed everything in it. That would do it. LMAO.
