Well I got the shroud and centering cap from MJMods and the parts are very nice. I used the carbon fibre tubes style and the Dumas 3004 prop on a MaxiJet 1200. Wow does that thing move water. Awesome mod!!!:xyxthumbs Anyone looking for more flow I highly reccomend this mod. I am using 2 1200 mods on my 170Gal tank and it seems to be perfect.

I purchased a couple of new ones from MJMods when I ordered the shrouds and centering caps. They were like 19$ us or something like that. If you plan on ordering from MJMods let me know as I would like to order a couple of the 2.5mm rods. Nice mod .
I have extra parts if you decide to do a mod - rods, tubing, props etc.

Thanks SSJChar,
A couple of things I found when doing the mod.
1 - You will need to buy a 2.5mm drill bit (house of tools on 42nd street). I have 1 if you want to borrow it.
2- Do the mod where you glue the rod into the magnet. The method of attaching the tubing to the magnet via the soft airline tubing causes to much vibration.
3- Glue the centering cap to the shroud after everything is built.
If you have any questions, need a hand along the way or would like to see one working just let me know.
Hope this helps

If you ask mjmods to get some 1200's in he will. He ordered some in when I placed my order and it only took 2 days for him to get them. I think he adds 5$ for shipping (extra weight). Still good. J&L sells them for 29$ if you can find people to help fill a group order of 200$ shipping is free.
