Regina Visit

I will be passing through Regina on the weekend any good LFS (saltwater) I should be visiting?.....names and addresses please:cool:

Petland here does not have any saltwater stock whereas their Saskatoon store does. Petcetera has some fish and occasional corals - these usually come in on a Friday - they did have their buy one get two free sale last weekend ... yes, it was buy one, get two free - so, they haven't had much stock since but should have more before your visit. A1 Aquarium has some salt stock and they are close by Petcetera - both at Albert Street and 4th Avenue.

Pat's Pets has salt stock at it's location just a few minutes from A1 and Petcetera - this would be at 7th Avenue and Scarth Street.

You can get to Cowtown by taking 4th Avenue and heading east from the previous stores - 4th turns into Ross Avenue and you head north when you get to Park Street - Cowtown is at 745 Park St.

There is an online store based in Regina, CMAS, and the owner - Rick Johnston - carries a fair amount of stock just in case you are looking for equipment, supplies or other dry goods. http://www.canadianmarineaquariumsupply.com

Some of these retail stores are getting into salt in a bigger way, but you shouldn't expect to see loads of stock or dazzling displays. You can get to CMAS in one minute and you can see all four of the retail stores with 20 minutes of driving in total on a weekend.
