I am sure this has been covered, but the searches I have performed have come up a little shy on info. I also may have been looking in the wrong place...but...

RE: Premium Memberships
1) where does one sign up/pay
2) is there a description of what a registered user has access to, and a description of what a Premium member has access to? (benefits?)

At present, I see no obvious indication that this is a 2-tier site, or that the option is even available.

What I would like to see is a link ("Become a Premium Member") on the home page (or a specific thread/sticky) that would address this. A place where a new person could go to, read up on what it means to be a registered member vs a premium member, and a place where one would have the ability to sign up/ pay on the spot.

On the forum page I see the now defunct "I Support Saskreef.ca" banner and a paypal link below it...but that seems to be more of a donation option, than a registration one.

Comments?

ROTFL...reponse to that is....

"Peregrine, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation"

OK...NOT FIXED???
Why can I read the link when I am not logged in...but get the access denied message when I am logged in? (cookies cleared, but not effective)

and the link answers the benefit question, but not the how.

I still think this concept (premium membership) should have its own dedicated page/link off of the home page.
This would keep the idea from being muddled by others opinions/comments, and would make it easier to find than in a thread

I found the info in the admin/announcement threads when I was logged out...but these threads are not available when I am logged in...
Lil' help please...why is that?
