Time soon for another visit to member's homes?
Might be an idea to avoid touring when the Riders are playing. If your interested in volunteering your place for the tour, please let me know and we'll see what we can arrange.

Okay, thanks Adolph. Shawn Lipon can host also - we are looking at Saturday, November 20th ( the Grey Cup is on the 21st ).
So we've got two places for the tour so far - Shawn's and Adie's. Rick Johnston had indicated an interest in hosting earlier, so we'll check with him. We could probably handle one more place for the tour, but three is a good number, also.

Okay, Rick Johnston has indicated that he'd like to host at his home for the saltwater tour on November 20th - so that is Adie, Shawn and Rick - this is still tentative at this point - anyone else interested in hosting?

i live downtown ,addie lives north central and rick lives northwest and most members seem to live in north end so if we went in this order i think it would be easier.what time are we looking at for each place.

I think the order that you mention for visits on the tour is a good one - we could do 45 minutes each on the first two visits and then allow for an hour at Rick's ( he has the two large tanks). If those on tour want to go for a coffee or treat when we are done - we could head to the Dairy Queen.
The tour will be lots of fun - I can hardly wait!

So, that would be, say, 1 PM at Shawn's place, 2 PM at Adie's and 3 PM at Rick's - this would give 45 minutes at the first two locations with 15 minutes travel time between places.
What are your thoughts?

Pencil us in, my wife Lisa and I would love to see some other tanks. We're pretty new to the hobby but are keenly interested in learning as much as we can.
Cheers

Oh no!!! I was really hoping to attend. We have a presentation that day and I am not sure what time it is over. Are the times set in stone??? We will try to be there, but it may not be possible to meet the times.
Have fun either way

Oh, I see. Adie is working on the Saturday - any chance your roomie or frag partner could run things?
I've found that your usually best just to pick a date and run with it because there will always be people who can't make it no matter which date one picks. Maybe let us know if you can make arrangements for this Saturday, Adie or we can look for someone else to host in place of youself - we can always put your place on the tour for the next time.

We are going with the saltwater tour this Saturday at 1 PM starting at Shawn's - do we have anyone who can host during the 2 PM slot? We can move Rick Johnston's spot from 3 PM to 2 PM if we don't have the second location.
Anyone interested in hosting?

Hi all,
We will be available for tour from 3 to 4pm. After that the store will be open until 6pm. ONLY two weeks left before store closes for good. Webstore will remain open.
See you on the tour. I will not be able to make it the other folks places scheduled on the tour as I need to man the store on the highly unlikely chance that a customer might come by :)

Okay, the tour will start at 2 PM ( new time) at Shawn's, apt 2- 2178 Osler St. The easiest way to explain it ... it is the apartment building across the alley and just east of the 7-11 store on Broad Street and 14th Ave. downtown. You can call Shawn at 546-5992.
Stop number two on the tour is Rick Johnston's at 141 Krivel Crescent (949-3997). This is near the Normanview Mall. You go to one block south of the Dairy Queen and if you are heading south on McCarthy Blvd., you turn right and just barely start going east ... his home is right there.
If folks want to head to Orion80's for 5:30 PM, sounds like you will be welcomed. Adie's address is 1040 Queen, between 4th and 5th Avenue, two blocks east of Lewvan. The phone number is 525-8271.
If you need to get ahold of any of us while we are on the tour, you can call me at 539-9123 and we will have this cell number on over the course of the tour.
Thanks in advance to Shawn, Rick and Adie - we hope to see reef club members for at least part of this fun and informative tour!
You may wish to print all of the above information and keep it as a reference.

Correction! Stop number two on the tour at 3 PM - Rick Johnston's - if you are going south on McCarthy, you turn right and you will be heading west not east, yes west, and Rick's home will be right there!
