I just saw that the New Pinpoint CALCIUM monitors are now available.I think this will be next "must have toy" its around $300 but its one that over time(even with replacement probes and calibrating fluid) will be cheaper than 2 x $40 ,PLUS my time , a year for good test kits.I prefer as a( lazy reefer ) to observe a reading, to doing tests.I dont mind calibrating once in a while.

As much as I would love this new toy there sure hasn't been alotta positive feedback on RC. Sounds like the jury is still out. Not like say the PH monitor. It sounds like it is not something that is left on like the PH monitor and a few other issues. I hope it turns out cause it would be so nice to always know at a glance like PH but is expensive so I am gonna hold back a bit until there are a few more reviews out there. Note Reef Solutions has it for 269.00 Cdn as opposed to J&L at 319.00 last I checked.

If you are talking about the seach function on RC...it sucks unless you pay for a premium membership. I just keep trying, eventually it works.
