Unfortunatly due to some problems on this site, my class field trip (http://server4.103092804.com/Release3/linkredirect.php?h=42066,405270,1110613054) needs to be rescheduled. All year my students have been excited to go to see a real tank and now that I have promised them one, I need a place what the ocean is really like. Beware, my little 7 and 8 year olds know a LOT about the ocean. You'd be quite amazed. They know about plankton, the types of reefs, and way more than most teenagers could ever learn. I can't break it to my kids that we no longer have a place to go. They were promised they could see a mandarin goby, lionfish, tangs, etc and now that they've learnt about them, I don't know how I can show it to them. Is anyone willing to let 27 angels come through their house (http://server4.103092804.com/Release3/linkredirect.php?h=40108,405270,1110613054) one morning or afternoon? I would keep half of them to read a story with (while half toured) and then switch. Everyone who has seen my students say they are the best behaved kids EVER!!! They are eager to learn and please! I know that everything I promised wont be there, but just so they could see some corals and some of the different types of fish? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! We have finished our unit so anytime in the next 1-3 weeks would be great. Thanks
Jocelyn
We are going to Red Lobster on Friday April 8th, and if by chance anyone was off work that Friday we could be there at 11:15 till 11:45? But willing to switch, I could get some parents to drive!

Hey Mocha, sure is nice to see your out there getting the next generation interested in our great hobbies. My teachers never did anything cool like that when I was in school. I would be more then willing to volunteer my tank for your class but there are two problems. First my tank is just a small 33gal, I'm sure you were hoping for something bigger. Second I'm in school every weekday from 8am to 5pm. So I doing think it will work out. I sure hope that someone else can help you out as I know how much these little things mean to the kids. Good luck!

Mocha, the tank here will be a 90 gallon one by tomorrow night - hopefully the move from a smaller tank will go smoothly; since we have a home based business there wouldn't be any challenges having you here in the AM or PM ... we're always here and the tank lights are always on! You're welcome to visit here if you'd like.

We have two rose bulbtip anemones and two clown fish who play in them, Nemo and Chuckles. No mandarin goby, but we do have a Dr. Seuss fish - yes, a lawnmower blenny that looks like the Cat in the Hat.

Let me know if we can help you out, thanks.

Brian Smyth.

Wow! Thank you everyone for your kindness. It is very much appreciated. I actually have booked a place, got a private email and that was the first one I saw. It works out perfect cause they get to see the main fish we have been studying lionfish, tang, clownfish and amazing corals. We are visiting red Lobster in the morning and will get to see a live lobster, as well as taste some shrimp. My kids know sooo much, starfish regeneration, that salt water comes from broken down rocks, jellyfish tentacles paralyze it's prey etc. They have been studying sooo much. This will really finish off our unit. We have invited parents out to see our play and so much more.

I teach a grade 2/3 class at Coldwell school. I have 27 angels picked straight from heaven and I know I will never have a class this well behaved again. I have to enjoy them while I am spoiled hehe! Again, thanks for everyone's support.
