I have been into salt for about 2 years now,and i have had lots and lots of different tanks.I started with a 33G small salt tank with damsels, then a 55G reef, then i went to a 230G pred tank, then a 90G pred,a 20G nano reef, and now finaly i am running and keeping my LAST tank,a 90G Reef. This tank is only 3 months old and it is in it's infancy,i have sunk more money into this tank then any other beacause this is going to be my last tank,it looks like crap compared to some tanks i have seen in town,Scary gary's tank was amazing,Rick J's tank was astounding,Adies tank was sweet, and even all the pics i have seen of all your tanks they all look great. Here is my little masterpiece in the works:

Tank looks great Jeremy. Looks like you have all the equipment, not much else to buy. But theirs always room for the right fish or coral.

Looks great, and thanks for posting your pictures! Keep them coming , every one.

I have a question for you about your (ex) 90 g predator tank. Why did you get away from it?

I have been thinking about converting my 90g to a predator because it just too similar to the 180. However, I am concerned that the 90 would be too small as a predator tank. I would love to have a couple of triggers (clown, picasso, etc.) and if I start with real small ones, maybe they could be content for a few years? Thoughts onyone?

Thanks for the good feedback.

The wave timer is working awesome...but..i have to change powerheads cause the RIO's are too loud when the start up.Everybody recomends Maxijets for wave makers since they hold up better and they dont make any noise when they start up.Once i get the maxi jets everything should be perfect.Between the lights and the wavemaker my corals have never looked better.

Well Preds are definitly alot different then reef tanks!

Triggers are great fish but they eat like filthy pigs,so you have to get a real kick a** skimmer, same with puffers. The reason i got out of preds is because i wanted corals/shrimp in my tank and obviously could'nt do that with lion's,eel's, and puffers Oh MY!I had a 20G nano while i had my 90 pred but i wanted more corals and fish and could not jam any more in my nano tank,so i decided to scrap the preds and go full out reef.Marine predators do have alot more personality then reef fish and if you are looking for more of a pet fish, then any of the above are great pets.Picasso triggers are alot more mellow then clown triggers and they can be housed in a much smaller tank.Clowns are well know for getting beligerant once they get older and killing everything in your tank so i would be think carefully about one.Picasso's have more personality then clown's anyways.
