Star fish help!!!!!!!!

OK Im sorry to be bothering people about my star fish again. But Ive just checked my starfish and his mouth is huge. and it looks like he is leaking white clear sludge of somesort. IS he dieing????????

A starfish I had like a year and a half ago started getting sores on him that had white fluid leaking out of them. About a week later, he died :( I wouldn't get too worried till someone on here churps up with a bit more experience but you should definately keep an eye on him.

If it is eating something there is no problem as it releases gastric jucies to kill prey to big to put in its mouth.

scary gary os totally right. I was scared for nothing I looked at the star fish and he slirpped up hes weird fluids and his mouth returned to normal. Scary knows his fish. Thanks for the tips from everyone else though. every little tip can reach a long distance.
