I think it will do the job nicely, did a bit of research and read alot of good things on this light. Dual 150watt 10000K HQI bulbs,Dual 96watt actinic power compacts, three Blue L.E.D moonlights.Plus you can get a kick ass metal hanging system for it.
Hey, John how is the stereo sounding these days?Need anything new?

nice light! get the idea from adie (i think he's got one of those)?

the sub is sittin in my basement right now cuz I parked the boat for the winter so some kid doesn't crash into it only to have SGI tell me they won't fix it..I'm getting the itch to put it into my truck..thats why I asked about the 4x6s. I'm still deciding on how to fit the sub in there..it's a reg cab with a bench seat...and since I'm tall I like the seat back all the way..but the sub+excursion makes it a tight fit behind the seat...I know it can be done, my buddy had a 12" behind his seat and he's taller than me..if you have and ideas on that, that would help! kinda itchin to upgrade the 4x6s for the truck too..sounds so tinny right now :BangHead:

do you have any disc changers that'll play mp3s and hook into the wife's 03 golf? I'm trying to prolong her from buying the $500+ cd changer from vw to get something more useful!

A type R is a deep sub too so it may not work behind the seat.As for a changer i can give you a good deal on an Alpine,Kenwwod,or a JVC all three make an MP3 unit.Let me know

Well i got the Coralife halide fixture installed and the wavemaster Pro rocking as well. After having Xenia in my tank for 3 months it started pulsing after 10mins with the new equipment,i dont know if it's the wavemaker or the lights or mabey both. The lights are INSANE,i have never had halides before but i dont think i would ever go back to anything else anymore. The ripple is awesome. My Ricordia got massivly huge,as well as my colt coral is reaching for the top or the water now.The only problem i have is the powerheads i am using are making loud clicking noises everytime they come on,so with the wavemaster there is a different powerhead coming on every few minutes and a LOT of clicking noises, the fish dont seem to mind but i definitly do.I talked to J&L and they said that a person has to use Maxijet powerheads cause they are the only ones that will not make noise, also they are the only ones that will last a long time with a wavemaker.Anybody got any maxijets for sale?If anybody is considering this light, let me say it is money well spent.I will post a few updated pics later today, also how long do you guys usually have your halides on for? What type of lighting scedule do you keep, including actinic, moonligh if you have?Right now i am running like this:

10:00am -moonlights come on

12:00pm -actinics come on/moon lights go off

2:00pm -halides come on /actinics stay on

10:00pm -halides go out

12:00am -moonlights come on/actinics go out

2:00am -moonlights go out
I would like to see how other people run there lighting so please post,I realize that some people may leave moonlights on all night, or run halides for longer.

Why not leave your moon lights on all night? I've never had moon lights before, just always thought that's what you do with them. If I recall correctly, I think Rick leaves his on all night.

I was thinking of that but these LED's are pretty damn bright,IMO the fish probobly appreciate some darkness, but i may be wrong.:o

My actinics come on at 6:30 the halides at 10:00 then halides go off at 10:00 and actinics at 11:00. I know this is longer than alot of people or books say to have them on. I do this so I can check things out before I go to work and I like to enjoy the tank till late evening.
