Zoo's look great!Have you tried to get a mate for your maroon clown?

His pal was a False Percula until he went carpet surfing. They were pals for about a year and a half. After the Percs death the maroon doubled in size and went mean. I have added two small False Percula which he is living with somewhat. Not sure if I want to add another Maroon at this point.

Looks good. I really like those deep orange centered zoos. I want to see more pics of everyone's tanks here!

Hey Panda, your zoo's look great, where did you get them? How big is your clam and where did you get him? I'd be very interested in seeing a pic of your whole tank, so if you have one please post it.

What are tips for taking good photos? My digitials are poor - I read that turning of the actinics would help. Other ideas and thoughts?

Farmer John, that five foot tank must be new for you - about how much did you pay for the tank? Thanks.

I find that my best pictures come when I turn off all surrounding lights and have my flash turned off. I try to take the pictures slightly off angle so that I don't get any reflections.

i got it last summer from a friend..he had GUINEA PIGS IN IT!!! so I traded him some car audio components for it. I think this was July 04.
and as for the camera, make sure your flash is off and your shutter speed is slow and you're on iso 400 mod. and since your shutter speed is slow, it's better to have all your tanks lights on so you can have it at the fastest setting that you get lots of light in, but not so slow you get blurry pictures. I think my shutter is normally at 1/20. I also turn off the "replay" feature, so you can shoot shoot shoot shoot without delay..for me I find you get a bunch of pictures over a short period of time which might be better focused or the fish is at a better angle...blah, hope that helps.

Yes it is. Starting to get some color back to it too. Was as white as a sheet of paper when I first got it about a month ago. Only the one clown hosts it right now (the one I'm assuming will become the female because she is the larger more dominant one) but the other is slowly making it's way there. It looks so good under actinics though.
